Your right on both Pete, as for what's mounted, it's a Webco type Triumph oil cooler I converted. I doubt it by it's self would have much effect, but the lines feeding it and the remote oil filter and oil tank are SS and the combination of all the eliminates will have the desired effect. Besides it looks kool and that's what it's all about.

 

I looked at this thread. Then I closed it. A minute later I opened it back up and looked at them again. Take that as a compliment. Rad bike

That shifter is sweet.

 

Here's a shot I've been waiting along time to see. At my place there is not enough space to take a step back and see what ya got. Have the bike at a friends shop to button-up some loose ends and build the exhaust.

Very nice! The oil line routing is great, are these plated or polished? I like the rear brake drum and hub, looks very trick laced to the smooth rim. Is the rim H-D? I checked the primary thread too, great work! I'm looking forward to see what kind of exhaust you're going with.

 

Thanks Guys, M2W, the oil lines are polished and the rim is from; http://www.hdwheels.com/. As far as the exhaust they will be 1.75 SS pipe. I'm looking forward to their fabrication too.

So what's in a license frame

This is another piece I think I went over the top on. I started with a 1/4 inch SS plate.

Had it machined to it's present state and this thing weighs to much something going to have be done about that.

Next will be to transfer hole locations from the sissy bar bungs to the plate and trying to get everything level.

I'm going to have to makeup some 10/24 center punches.

 

Finally the bike can stand on it's own. The lower primary tabs dictated were the kickstand would call home.

Top motor mount buttoned up.

This is our first wack at the exhaust flange. Made a plug to press into the pipe to expand the pipe from 1 3/4 to 2 1/16, but still working out the kinks.

 

More boring detail of the build. Rear and front exhaust flange, now the magic begins.

 

Started out this afternoon by re-doing the rear exhaust flange. From there we were able to get the front tube on. Will finish the back tube today.

Well didn't get very far. Cut up a lot of pipe and still scratching my head. Like I said I knew this was going to be tuff. I'll sleep on it and hit it again tomorrow.
