Otto, saw your work on another site, great stuff. I play around with engraving a little. Dremmels do well for re leaf cuts but for smooth lines, I haven't figured it out yet using a tool that rotates. I would assume you need hammer and graver for that.

Forget the Dremel tool. It's just the wrong tool for this kind of work. I use the Lindsay Palm Control Airgraver. It's kind of pricy, but I do this for a living and I coundn't do it without it.
 
I think you might have engraved something for me once. And look now your famous! Saw the VTX engraving pics look great. Hopefully you will have time to engrave the new shovel I'm doing.

hey otto your a true master at your craft. just curious, how many hours are in the vr primary cover?
 
i cannot believe the detail in that cam cover....can't wait to see the rocker covers....i hope to have a few things done on my 68 shovel project by you....great work man!!!
