been a long summer I was busy with the other rigid shovel but since I found a bit of spare time I started getting the bike on final assembly

I stripped the frame and filled in a few spots that needed filling, then I primed and painted it, got the motor and trans all freshened up, and pretty much got everything where I want it to be
so heres a few pics of what I got assembled tonight,
just waiting on the paint for the tins to show up,
Im going with a flat tone rust/brown metal flake paint for the tank and fenders with a scallop design on the tank sides
should look pretty cool and old chop style when its done

let me know what you think

yeah rich phillips seats
this is the second one I got from him and they seem to be of pretty good quality, and the price is pretty good as well,

I would definately get another one from him for the next build

just went through some of my old threads
I just finished giving this bike a little make over in the last few weeks, this has been an on going build when I first built this bike it was built from a lot of left over pieces we had floating around etc.
I almost have it to where I want it now, just want to go ahead and maybe change up the seat and get a nice paint job on it maybe one day down the road,
this is a long term project that will be a keeper, my dad has owned this frame since the 60's so Im in no rush to get it finished permanently
I have put a ton of miles on it since I first got it back together a few years ago its more or less mine or my dads go to bike where ever we ride
so she gets plenty of good use

yeah i totally agree with you on it
this bike was built years ago with a completely non existent budget
ill do the exhaust over in stainless once i get a little more time
this bike is really just a good running bike that logs a ton of miles its not meant or built to be a show stopper right now
when im done with my panhead build ill get back onto this and give it a nice stainless exhaust and maybe a nicer paint job but for now it gets the job done
