I got a box of parts and this was in it, a cam cover for a V-twin OHV 61/74" with outside oiler fitting, part number 97-403 ALCOA, is it a harley part? If so, what yr.?

Yeah, a pic will make it easyer, the knuck cam covers were reused to some extant in the panyears.....Roach.

Ok, look at the top lump, see the corosion at the gasket surface, Knuck for shure, I think start used in 41 late to 47.
The 40 to early 41's were cast thick with the breather lugg in the vally witch was reused on the 51-53 pans.

Prety mutch, you block off the outside oiler, for the pan, or drill/tapp the pan one for a knuck or shovel top end....Roach.
