what is the going rate on a pair of Amals and any suggestions on a REPUTABLE supplier?

said it a million times....these motors are old tech...AIR, FUEL, SPARK....
a shot of STARTING FLUID into...hell even around the carbs, fumes will get into the combustion chamber at one point....
even if the timing is WAY off, and one plug is completely gone...you should get ignition somewhere.... a backfire, possibly shooting out the carbs/ tailpipes... if you have air, and spark...then at some point introduce fuel....BANG!... It may not be in the proper place or timing ,but it will light off...
