I found this bike as a basket cases back in August 08 and it had been sitting for 30 + years. I went through the whole motor and trans and made sure everything was in working order. The heads needed to be rebuilt and the cylinders were bored to 60 over but I was able to run stock 80" pistons with that bore. The bottom end was okay it just needed a really good cleaning. I put a XLCH magneto on it for spark and i pieced together an all chrome M-74b Linkert so she could breathe. I left the molding on the frame just how I found it I only fixed it in a couple areas. I added a new 19 rear rim that i laced and trued myself I was stoked because it was my first time. The bars and sissy bar were with the bike when I got it I just brought them back to life with it. I tried to keep it just how I found it. I also friscoed a wassel tank and made a couple more goodies. I finished the bike up in early december 08 and road it to the David Mann Show in Ventura, Ca good times and good Memories. The bike is running great and just shows old harley stuff last's forever.
Nice, 'cept when you score something so cheap that you know you are going to flip, maybe don't tell everyone how cheap you got it for...just a thought.
