...I just looking at a Falcon motorcycles picture and I really do not cut for me this thing about "a company name motorcycles"
Do they make the engines?...NO
Do they make % of the rest of the bike? yes
Do they use some parts of other brands, like wheels, drums, brakes, forks, etc? YES

Here in this forum we see that there are people who live from building motorcycles or repair them and others like me that are building one
but I do not see "my name" motorcycles...I see my Triumph bobber, HD pan build, etc
It s the engine the most important thing and it s the engine who does the name to the motorcycle.

so , why a bike that have a Vincent, Triumph, HD, or whatever and never be an agreement with those factories, etc is called "a name" motorcycles?

Im wondering about it

Why Reverb? Surely you weren't born with that name. It doesn't say Reverb on your license, does it. You get the picture, right. Falcon can't legally call themselves Triumph customchopperbobberboardtrackerboltonweldonrigids, right? Hope this helps!

If ya build bikes, ya gotta call 'em something. Even if ya use crate Evos, the Mother Ship sure as hell ain't gonna let ya call 'em Harley-Davidsons.

...of course you cannot put HD or Triumph on them, so these guys what are do is "dress" engines; some super cool some not so cool
I build surfboards and they have a brand name

My point is that where s the development of those motorcycles?
Its just for the look in my opinion.

I repeat, several here build motorcycles for a living that look so good and they do not have a brand name in those bikes..so that s very fair and right.

I always thought it was just the shop name. If you're into old cars at all, think of the Hirohata Mercury.......It was called a Barris Kustom because it was modified at his shop, but still a Merc.
Just my interpretation.....

It seems I could take H-D motors, put 'em in Paughco or Triumph frames with David Bird hardtails,Lowbrow tanks,Borrani wheels,Avon tires etc.etc. and call 'em "KINGPIN KUSTOMS".

[Specially if I can stuff a H-D motor into a Triumph frame...then I would deserve recognition!]

Its because calling your shop Bla Bla Bla Choppers is played out. Now its a Co. I know this cuz all my neighbors joke and say my basement work area is CT Choppers orEast Coast Choppers. I dont like it. I call it Old Soul Moto Co. I even have a .com. oldsoulmotoco.com.I dont update as much as i should. Ok enough self promotion.
