wanna see some vintage helmets and cafe racing.
this vid is from 1969, it has some smokin 2 strokes like the T500 I'm building it and shows some serious vintage doos, clothes, and helmets.
guys going at break neck speed on tires as wide as bicycle tires and half helmets and goggles. = cool stuff

Yeah, if you fall out of bed with it on. You're better off with a bare nugget...that'll do a good job of deflecting bumble bees.

Anybody wants one of these--a nice original with leather strap/ear flaps and visor still intact--I got one. It's from the '40s. Racer's name is written in pen on the leather liner. $200 shipping incl.

No padding in the one I posted, just a web to keep it off your skull. That's probably why they were called pudding basins, because that's what your cranium would be after a wreck.

R.F, do you know what companies made those helmets back then?
