I had the inline fuel filters just below the petcocks, took them out after i re sealed top end. When I had the top end apart cleaned out carbs, no problem, gummed up but eh. I took a solvent gun to the inside of the tank which is not bad not great, put all new fuel lines in and ran it. Blew a throttle cable and figured, new throttle springs, gaskets main jets...
Just had them apart in summer and they were already merky colored in the bowls, wtf...
Are there any filters that go in the tank before the petcocks or ,
see question at title
thanks

Try putting a little fuel injector cleaner in your fuel now and then. I have seen a shit load more gum than that and it still ran like a rat up a drain pipe.
