I was traveling for work today and found a small Triumph shop full of old parts that had the distance piece for my rear brake drum that I was looking for and on the shelf staring at me was these Twisted Metal Z Bars. I wanted something a little better than stock for my T100 bobber and these were exactly what I was looking for. After about an hour of hand polishing I would say I have the chrome back to a 8/10. Is there something I should do to them to protect them now that they are cleaned up? Also, does anyone know what they are, there are no markings and the old guy said they were from the 70's so I am guessing they are some sort of AEE bars. They are 7/8" and pretty heavy from the solid twisted metal. I don't really care that much what they are, I just like them and want to keep them in top shape. I am going to have to find some nice risers that will work with these and my conical front end as the stock p-clamps will not work at all. Oh and to answer the obvious question, I got them for $40.
