dearly loved the Mikuni on my ironhead...
once dialed in, it was awesome at anything more than 1/2 throttle... and just fine below that.
the thing that sucked; starting. no accelerator pump + kick only ironhead + magneto = a workout. if it wasn't for that, i'd still be running that carb...

I love them on my Bonnie. I did take a while to dial them in. So finely tuned compared to the Super E on the Sporty. I really look forward to the articles. Thanks pzokes

I can get my 65 xlch to start with two kicks cold, or one kick warm......I really need to study all the other ranges. I'm not happy with the mid-range. Thanks for posting this info...
