vl frame swap?

I have a early 1930 to 33 vl frame that I got with a 34 vld engine, I want to build the 34 vld dead stock, but wanted to know all that I would have to do to make the frame I have work with fenders and other bits for 34 bike, or should I just trade the early frame for the correct 34 t0 36 frame??
