I was diggin through an acre of old junky cars and refrigerators out behind this old guy's barn some years ago...and found a BT tranny bolted down to an old homemade snowmobile framework of some sort.
"Hey...kin I buy that??"
"Sure", the old boy replied, "and I've got another one underneith the workbench you kin have too".
The BT tranny on the sled was a 3 speed w/ reverse, complete with the entire clutch...and the one under his workbench was from a 45.
$25.00 was all I had...and he took it.
does this story qualify???
