OK, like the 'teens to WWII thread, this is for vintage bikes post-WWII to 1970's USA, British, German, Italian or other European manufacturers. If a moderator believes something in here belongs elsewhere, please make the placement, and inform me where I can find the thread, thanks.

An unusual bike, I think it's a Ford V8-60. A later build instead of a 1960's build, given the disc brakes, I believe. With that-much weight, I would want more-than a 5.10 90 series tire providing some rear suspension, as it appears to be a hardtail.

The next bike was done by an acquaintance of mine, a Florida dealership mechanic for Triumph when they were still in Meriden.

This newest format is confusing my old brain. I'll get it eventually! I like the thread, tried to start one myself on this subject several years ago, but there wasn't much interest in it. Hopefully this one will take off like a house on fire! This is my latest acquisition...'69 T100S. Restored it for a friend about nine years ago. He seldom rode it, so I figured it needed to be rescued...great little machine!

Thanks, youall.

The Victor tank looks terrific in its ubiquitous polished alloy and schoolbus yellow, and there's probably a law against changing it -- "criminal desecration of a britbike icon," prosecuted as a hate crime -- but just one time I'd like to see one done in alloy/black. That could be a sinister little bike.

Check out the flipped cyl head, the hardtail, the knobby tires, small gas tank, and huge rear sprocket. Looks like it would give a good accounting of itself at a hillclimb.

This is our old M20 with M21 engine. Good old girl starts easy and goes like sprayed cockroach.
72 mph down a very steep hill slipping my sons kwaka. Absolutely terrifying, shit handling, autofade brakes, and a knobbly on the front.

Nice BSA.

I was trying to figure out what the chromed thing on the seat was in the top pic. Then I looked harder and realized that it was the mirror!:p

'Cone' shovelhead w/a good quality rear binder.

Ya gotta respect the ingenuity of this builder, I never saw a Moto Guzzi like this! For a point of comparison, supposedly Big Red 'H' made a very successful flat tracker by taking the CX500/650, which in engine layout resembled the Moto Guzzi transverse V-twins, and turning the cylinders 90 degrees to a longitudinal orientation, like the bike below. They won the AMA flat track championship 3 times in the 1980's with Bubba Shobert riding that design Photo by the author, in the grandstand at Daytona International Speedway. This bike was plated, and appeared to have been ridden as a streetgoing bike to its place of display.

This shows the adaptation of the chain primary drive and the chain final drive. The white 'eye' is the air cleaner. DLS front brake. Those of you familiar with the Brough Superiors may recognize the gas tank shape. All in all, a well thought-out bike, being used, and practically-so.

A H-D flathead.

And a view from the other side. I believe it's a 45 cu. in. If that's wrong, please correct me.
