I am looking for a template or drawing for engine plates for putting a unit 650 triumph engine in a slimline featherbed, i am not going to buy the unity ones as they don't fit and are too light.

If you don't find a template.... I've made my own for a unit NorBSA by setting the engine in the frame on wood shims where I wanted it with the BSA engine mounts attached, and the Norton mounts bolted in the frame. From that I made cardboard templates and just to be sure made a test set in 1/4" plywood before cutting the aluminum. Sounds time consuming but was actually quite easy. I cut spacers out of aluminum plate with a hole saw and cleaned them up by running a nut and bolt through them and turning them with the drill and dressing them with a file and emery cloth.
