so i heard that if you have a "classic motorcycle" designated plate on your bike (aka your bike is older than 25 years) that you dont have to do the stupid yearly inspection crap with the state of texas?

doesnt seem to mention it on the txdot site...
http://www.dot.state.tx.us/vtr/spplates/specialplate.htm?nbr=72

can anyone verify this?
this would be killer to have for my 78 bonne.

thanks.

78 classifies as antique I think. i just switched on my panhead...no more inspections....the catch is you are only supposed to ride to shows and parades and such....so I am always on my way to a club meeting when I get pulled over!!!
