I have the new bit and a pencil size holder, in theory cleaning the pilot jet on a 930 sounds easy but it isnt.
Because the bit is short I can clamp the very end so the remaining length just reaches the jet meaning the operation is done by feel which I dont have much success.
I'm asking the guys out there who do this regular as I'm sure you wouldnt be spending the same time I have (and failed), on customer bikes.
I need pics of tools made or bought to hold the drill bit and still be able to see in there?

Tony, Jack, thanks for the backup fellas, the shop sold me a #78 bit because it's .016".
I didn't know that so it was worth a lot mate, I asked him for a 78 thou bit!
Should be able to turn the screw out a few now, it's all the way in to get an idle.

Any of you done the mod suggested on a bunch of websites? I'm referring to the deal where you drill and tap the other side of the pilot jet, then use a cut off mixture screw as a plug. The only purpose is easy access for cleaning! Not sure what it would take as far as tools though......

I was going to, but thought it would be just as tough to reach around the other carb to get at the new access point?

I've been using a single strand from some small wire I had around.

Far out! I realized I have all this info and more in a booklet I bought off Panic at Victory Libraby. I knew I had read somewhere(or dreamed it) about removing the original pilot jet and replacing it with a threaded mikuni jet for tuning using different sizes. Easy to clean too!
