So is that a hardtail frame modified for a swing arm or a swingarm cut and shut for the lowered seating position??

A lot of pretty work producing something different. Ain't that called artistry??:)

two things:

you're running a sprung rear end = you ain't a sheep.

dished tank: ithink they look so nifty. How are they done, cut and weld, beat and fill??

whatever, be yourself.

Cut the shape you'd like to "dish" to be out of each side. Weld left side in right hole, right side in left hole. The cuts, as you can guess, must be precise.
