I was looking around the board and I found this thread

It does a great job of showing the wireing but I am running a boyer and a tympanium.

Is the miti-max a direct replacement for the miti-max?

I think I can figure out the ignition system from the instructions but I am not so sure about the charging system.

..

umm ..

do you mean is Mity max = mini mite (from those 2 diagrams) ??

or mean is Mity max = tympanium ??

I've not seen this mini mite, think that's a real old drawing ..

bottom line tho, the Mity max is just another solid state regulator/rectifier (like your tympanium) BUT it also has an internal capacitor (battery eliminator) ..

if you are running Boyer ignition, you Will need a hot battery, so go ahead on with your tympanium, or a podtronic 'box' for the charging side, and just simplify your wiring ..

& I've always believed in separate lighting switching on Brits too, rather than "always on" lights; for starting or diagnosis .. off, on, on + lights ..

Good luck ..
