What do you "experienced" guys set your valve clearances at... Do you use the settings like given in the Haynes manual for example..?

Triumph Unit 650

Inlet valve clearance: 0.002"

Exhaust valve clearance: 0.004"

It's not a lot is it...??

Why is it that every time I check my settings are smaller or bigger than what it should be..?
Okay.. I'm running all new stuff inside my motor... Maybe it needs some "run in time"..?

I got rid of all my leaks... I'm also playing around with my magneto now, but that little hex shaft going from the cam to the mag is a total piece of shit... Not very much clever engineering from the Hunt guys if you ask me...:eek:
