Hello all,
how hot does a Tympanium unit get? I was planning on putting it under my gas tank, between the frame rails. I have a very simple electrical system with only horn, high/low headlight, taillight, speedo light, hi/low indicator light. Running a Boyer micro digital, with standard alternator.
Would it be unsafe under the tank or should I be okay? I run with headlight/tailight always one.
Thanks,
Matt

It should be alright as long as it does get some air flow. I run mine mounted under the seat near the downpost, it however is exposed to lots of fresh air.

Just keep in mind ventilation is good, and heat is bad.
