Triumph preunit, rocker caps same as tranny cap?

Hey guys. I am rebuilding a TRW 500 and need to replace the buggered up fill cap on the tranny. Is this cap the same as the rocker box caps on the early 500 and 650's? Thanx!

I believe so, 'cept for all the oil specs cast on them.

are you guys thinking about the primary cap, or the trans inspection cap?
On a pre unit the trans cap is the same as a tappet cap.

i thought the gearbox cover caps were bigger?
