Rebuilding a 650 triumph tr6 1966 vintage. Previous owner rounded off the crank shaft pinion nut. After grinding flats on the nut I was able to get a socket in it and remove it.
Now I'm reassembling the motor and I can't find a timing mark on the gear :(
Is it timed from the key way? Anybody got one they could photograph? Hate to have to buy another gear just to see where the dot is.
