Hi. Do any of you in the Baltimore - D.C. area own these tools and if so would you be willing to let me come to you with my engine and allow me to pull these gears with your tools? These are the three gears inside in the timing cover that require a puller. It should only take a few minutes and I'll pay a nominal fee.

Please let me know.

You can take a number of the cheap pullers and grind the ends down to fit under the gears. it is a whole lot cheaper and works fine. Be careful and think about what you are doing.

I don't think that would work for atleast one gear--I think it's a lefthand thread that the tool threads onto to pull the gear off.
