Sure. I assume you mean standard unit 650 pistons? They will work fine, although they will net you less than 9:1 due to the difference in the combustion chamber design of that pre-unit head. If you take apart most pre-unit 650 engines in use today you would likely find that most of them are running that piston.

shaggy's right most P/U irons run them, but you also have a .040 de-compression plate below the jugs? you don't really need that.
