Anyone have any good pictures of some badass hotrod versions of a Road King . . ? Fairings okay , bags okay , just maybe lowered , better looking than stock bikes ?

I can't really find any online , but some guy in town here has one that is really cool . All blacked out , chopped down touring fairing , lowered . . etc . Anyone ?

so RKs aren't gay? or Vag?

Did you sell it before or after putting the fat tyre kit on it? ;^}

Damn, you keep telling customers you won't do fat tyre bikes and you won't be able to buy up all the pans in the world, other grasshopper . . .

oops

sorry for the confusion Mike, I was replying to Trent . . . just harassing him a bit, cuz he's got that big masterbuilder ego and all. ;^}

I personally think RKs are close to a perfect motorcycle. I prefer the pan or shovel version, but who can quibble over a span of 50 years of a successful design . . .

sorry to hijack yer thread

This was an FLHTP I picked up at a City Police Auction about 4 years ago. I painted it Cadillac Orange, shaved and smoothed a bunch of the PO-lice crap off, lowered it....blah, blah, blah. Comfortable, but I bought it to purty up and sell.

here's mine that i sold last year. the pic was somewhere in kentucky memorial day weekend. it was '99 with a 95" s & s top end & gear driven cams. lowered front & rear, custom midnight blue paint, mini apes with internal wiring, short national cycle shield, corbin solo with backrest etc etc. ran great, but i didn't like the ride as much after lowering it. as you can see , i'm already old & fat, so hold the jokes!!! still prefer my rigids btw!!

Here is mine, spent some time on it (air ride adjustable suspension, 180 rear tire and 1.5" belt, custom swingarm, lowered 3", wheels, billet forks, custom made fenders/tank/seat, blah blah blah.

Should be in Hot Bike Mag in March. I am selling it though, to finance a new house and shop (and my 60's trump project).
