I like the shorter version. Is it possible to section the fork legs and TIG them back together to get that low and maintain travel?

Yes, I had that done at a local bike shop with my 39mm fork.
Shortened the the lower legs by 2" and the uppper ones by 4.25"

Yeah, thats what I'm planning on doing. Knukkel's comment makes me feel better knowing it can be done. I may switch to a 19" front as well, but I'll only do that as a last resort, and only if it looks right.

hey....got a question.....have you dropped the motor in that thing yet......does the chain clear the frame ok? The way I am looking at mine there needs to be something "engineered" to get through the chain...or rather get the chain through the frame....

perhaps I am missing somethin?
