"In 1965, 23-year-old photographer Danny Lyon, a veteran of the civil rights movement, returned to his hometown, Chicago, and joined the Outlaw Motorcycle Club. Riding with camera in tow, he produced these raw and dramatic photos, which were released in 1968, a year before Easy Rider, and again in 2003. The Bikeriders imprinted on the public a vision of the heyday of life in a motorcycle gang."

Yeah I figured a bunch of people had seen the book already...

Nads,
If you click that link up there it takes you thru some images of that book..Pretty amazing documentation of that era...

Pretty sure I've never typed Shitbird and Nads on the same document, ever. Felt kind of weird.

Yeah, that fucking book is the SHIT.
The Cal dude comes off real good...some of the others not so much.
Like life always is.
Pretty cool to see the sleds, the heads and the old beer signs and shit.
Killer book, must have.
