TEXAS HOT ROD REUNION
...Due to the EXTREMELY FAVORABLE responses received by the announcement of Little River Dragway’s Nostalgia Drags originally scheduled for Saturday June 9 2012 - The race has been EXPANDED to 2 Days, Saturday June 9 AND Sunday June 10th.
...Now to be known as the Texas Hot Rod Reunion, Little River Dragway will be holding Open Competition in “Heads Up” Trophy Class Racing, in “Foot Brake” E.T. Bracket Racing, and will be having Exhibition Runs & Open Drags for folks that just want to enjoy going down the Historic Old Dragstrip. Trophy Competition includes Classes for; Flatheads, 6’s, & 4’s - Street Coupe & Sedan - Street Roadster - Hot Coupe & Sedan - Hot Roadster - Full Size Stock - Stock - Hot Street - Vintage Fuel Motorcycle.
...Competitors will be treated to a COMPLETE RACE PROGRAM each day with Eliminations in each category all the way down to where Winner’s Trophies & Prize Money is awarded. Racers may run either or both days in both Class Competition and E.T. Bracket too - That’s 4 chances over the weekend to make it to the Winner’s Circle and there’ll be A LOT OF CHANCES For Everybody TO HAVE FUN, Both during the Dragstrip Action & Saturday Nite Too!!!
...Saturday Nite after the track closes and folks have had a bit of time to eat or twist a few more wrenches ONE OF DALLAS’ BEST - Rock-Bop & Party Bands, Pete Barbeck & 7th Son will take the stage and play Racer Favorites & their Original Tunes ‘till “pass-out 30”. Pete & his 2 man band consistently WOW’S Gearhead crowds in the Metroplex. A couple of his original tunes are currently playing on the Nostalgia Race Promo Video on littleriverdragway.net
...There’s no extra charges for RV’s and camping is encouraged. Folks wanting to get an EARLY START to the weekend’s BIG DRAGS may come in Friday June 8 to set up camp from 3pm until the Admissions Gate for the Friday Nite Street Racing closes at 10pm. Weekend Passes in addition to Friday Nite’s regular $10 admission will be collected for all early entries.
...The Gate will re-open at 8am Saturday June 9th for both Saturday Only and Weekend Admissions. Racer Registration will be open at 9am and Time Trials will begin at 10am both days.. MAKE PLANS NOW FOR WHAT’S GONNA BE A GREAT TIME, at the Historic Old Dragstrip, Underneath The Giant Shade Trees Along The Banks Of The Little River.. BE THERE!!!!!!
