Is anyone here familiar with the term or the process of raking a frame via piecutting the backbone and fr. downtube/s, bending them backwards to get the rake, and rewelding?

This is not a method I'm familiar with and it sounds a little sketchy to me on the surface.

Can anyone enlighten me?

LOL!! That's what I figured. Because it sounds to me like it would take installing an insanely long front end just to make the bike semi-level again.

Actually, no one told me about it as a method but I saw a frame done that way that a guy is trying to sell. To me it looked ruined but he's insisting that it's legit. I figured we could get to the truth pretty quickly if I asked around here.
