I searched, I swear, so sorry if this has been asked a millionty times in the past.

I'm hardtailing a '70 T100, and have a line on a rear disc hub from a '76 T140, laced to a 16x3 Harley rim. From what I can tell, the width of my swingarm would have originally been approximately 7 1/2", while the width on the T140 would have been just a c-hair over 8".

Will the later disc hub fit into my hardtail? Safe to assume it's going to make it a lot tougher to get the wheel close to centered in the frame if it even does fit? I don't mind having spacers/etc machined, but am concerned it won't fit in there at all.

Anyone?

With enough $$$ anything can be made to fit. Should not be too hard to get the Tri disc back wheel and caliper in, will have to make spacers and change to the 3/4 axle. The fun will be the brake pedal and master cylinder mounting
