Hey guys just collecting info for my project. When I got my barn find 55 t110 with the iron head the barrels and head were silver. Was this silver paint ever OEM or did someone paint them? I assumed they were always black enamel?

head and barrel would have been black on the original bike.

As 62nacelle says. The first silver painted barrels were on the '56 TR6 Trophy to match the new alloy head.
