I tried to attach a photo I hope it worked. I did a rough mock up now that I have gathered enough part I think I am screwed on the lenght of this thing it appears to be way to long. Any one have a T100 hard tail to sell or know where I can get one Wes did not have any, looking at 4" over, I think this one is like 6" to 9" over.
Any and all opinions welcome.

Looking good...that rear tire cleaned up nice.I like a bike that has been stretched in the rear section...keeps them from looking to stubby.My opinion.

Not for nothing but maybe a larger tank or a long seat ( with the snatchpad attached ). Or is it just the overall length?

The tire cleaned up real well Rob Thanks again. I do think it is the overall length more than the seat, the seat is a 9x13 Bates repop. I am concerned about the length as it relates to the ride hight and the over all rake and look I was trying to acheive. I think this thing with the long stretch is way to low in the rear, it only has 2.75" of ground clearance. Having read what many guys have said this is to low for any type of ride quality I was looking for at least 3.5" and to run the bike flatter without the front rake. Someone said the standard swing arm length is aprox 16" this thing is 25".

Think outside of the box for a minute...you've got something neat there and you don't even realize it.

-Buy an M/H slick for the rear (I can get you one)
-Have Justin @ Foundation (www.foundationcustoms.com) build you some narrow drag bars w/ a little downturn w/ integrated risers, as short as he can make
-toss the sprung seat and set it up w/ a hard mounted seat that molds to the top of your frame and fender nicely

You've got the makings of a neat digger there and you're not even seeing it. You could actually have a Triumph that's a little different than the run-of-the-mill build Wes spoke of in his post.

Tony I hear what you are saying and really do like the style of the old drag bikes but my real concern is the ground clearance with what I have here. Is anyone running at 2.75", will this thing be street rideable. I really wanted the bike more like the style Wes has been building. I believe who ever started this thing was probably building a drag bike. I picked it up from rattlecan a while back and it had the fat bob tank and apes at the time. The front end is 29" so something like 6" over I wanted to cut it down to a stock 22". Maybe I am better off trying to swap this one out and get something else. It is pretty much all here with a title just needs some bits and pieces.

Well,they buildem all day long.Build ya a way to jig it up and rework the rigid section.Ya all ready got everything incl a title make use of what ya got.Why go and start over doesnt make much sense to me.I think ya got a real good start just need to work on proportions a bit.

I do like Tonys idea if ya just gonna squirt around town on it but for more than that you might not want to go that way.


Side note Tony I am looking for a 18 in racemaster slick....Do you know where to find them at???????? If so couls ya pm me some info..

I know it may be a little too late for it, but have you considered an 18" wheel? It would fill the space a little better and maybe give you some more ground clearance.

I did but I had the 16" and it was already powder coated with the front. I noticed that the actual tire diameters are not much different 16 to 18. After seeing Mike V's bike I am going to cut the forks and go with it and see where it takes me. This thing is not being built for long distance travel so if the ride is not the best I guess I will just deal with it.
