If the Revteck gear fits with the old roller bearings and doesn't require you to do any machining to adapt to the later Torrington type bearing, and it's of top quality, then I would say it would be a good improvement!!

Is there a way to tell if that bushing is worn to the point of not sealing without taking the entire trans apart for inspection? I currently have the main seal and spacer out. With the loose roller bearing still installed there is a little play in the shaft, which makes me suspect the bushing is worn. The trans was also rebuilt 2 years ago with Andrews replacement parts.

I posted this same question in another thread but after stumbling upon this one, my question seems more appropriate here...
