has anyone diagnosed spitting from an s&s super b carb?
my shovel has 3600 mls and iv'e witnessed the occasional spit out the carb. suddenly, it happens quite frequently. at warm up and low speed, just off idle.
any help would be great. E.

I hope you kicked his ass for not listening to you when you told him to toss it as far as he could. Actually, that's really not bad advice as it could be because he's not running a filter or switched to a K&N which will make it run lean.

One guy here "tunes by duct tape" He keeps adding duct tape to his air filter element to restrict the flow until the spitting goes away. This will work but is not really correct. You should put in a larger intermediate jet to increase the fuel/air ratio. Not restrict the air. But it will work.
