On the dual plug version, are the carb side plug holes for long reach or short reach plugs? I'm on the road and away from the bike.

I am thinking that they are long reach I know for sure the standard side for the plugs is long reach. Looked in a couple of books don't really say sorry not much help.

Thats where I'm at. I won't be home for a few days to measure the heads. I was wanting to pick up some plugs on the road.

My 65 Pan STD heads I run champion RN12YC both holes longreach..S&S jugs and flywheels.

Both are long reach. I use a 5/8 plug for clearance between push rod tube's and a 13/16 plug on primary side.

Yep. The 13/16" will not work (usually) the drive socket will contact
the head casting & you will not be able to tighten the plug.

I use the 5/8" long reach, copper core 3924 autolite with my points ignition
