Is it just me or is there somewhere just full of the top tree for front ends?
I see in particular springer after springer with no top tree. Where the hell do they go? Just baffles the shit out of me.

Same place that one sock always disappears too.
They are laying somewhere with the handlebars still attached, most time folks just take teh top off with the bars attached,,later teh bars get used and the piece ends up in a box or something
I noticed that too and a few years ago picked up a springer with no top. How do guys lose them !

No doubt ! That's a good one.
You are probably right Scavenger.....but how is it easier to take the top plate off than the riser caps? Lazy a-holes anyway!

Ha ha - I've always thought this too. Seems like 90% of springers are missing...they always seem to sell the top clamp at a different time.
Right on Pete!!!
..........my missing socks, those missing top clamps..........and probably a manilla folder or dirty magazine chock full of titles to old chops and other bikes just waiting to be found..........
