sportster frames

I am looking at the catalogs and I see I can get a weld on rear section for an iron head sportster for around $100....

But I have found only one (in Kanas) that is $300++ for evo sportsters...

Does anyone know what is different?

What needs to be changed to get a Iron hardtail to fit a evo set up?

you can get one for shovel sporties from V-twin. Bolt on or weld, I think they are around 150. Check the link.

Check out shamrock fabrication. Irish Rich put an ironhead hardtail on a evo sporty frame a while back.

Right, I understand that....I have an evo that I want to chop and I am wondering what needs to be done to make that iron head tail work?
