A couple of things.

First question:
I am getting ready to order some pipes and was looking for some input. High pipes (TR6, T100C, Scrambler type) or drags?

Second question:
Where should I mount my ignitor box and tympanium unit?

Here is a shot of the bike as it stands now:

Here is a close up of the rear section:

The battery is sitting on top of a few cross supports I put on. I know it is ugly, but it is all my work. Unfortunately the battery is a little wide to lay down between the rails (the chain would hit it)

So any advice would be great.

Thanks

If you are running a boyer . I'd go with a single ign coil with duel leads then hide the typ. unit and the boyer box were the other coil goes under the tank .
Thanks. But I was wonderng, would it get to hot? Do they need to have airflow to cool?

There is plenty of air flow under the tank . The tunnel rams it through . Besides it only a 500 trump , how far do you plan on riding with out stopping ? Not long enough to over heat them I'd bet . Also coils get hot and there is enough air flow to cool them .

You know what I would do? I would clean up your shop!! Yeah I know it sounds like an asshole kinda coment but having a good work space will reflect on your project/s. Being able to work around you bike makes things so much better. I just happened to notice the tires and boxes stacked up. My work space is terrible, no work is getting done in there. My Hotrod is at Bobbleeds shop because I really don't have the work space for it but even Bob has way to much stuff, he's got all kinds of future project stuff in his office(Really cool shit). I've been meaning to go out and spend a weekend cleaning and organizing just to help out (I owe him that). You'll be more productive that way. Also Spend lots of time mocking things up, make up a cardboard battery for instance and put it in differant places until it looks right. We spent a lot of time looking at my sedan where the rear axle sits just to get it right, now I see some cars with the axle to far back or foward. Don't rush your project!!

I would run the typanium under the tank. I like both pipes but if you have any clearance issues I would go hi pipes (thats what i have). I am lowering my forks 2.5" though. I would get a round oil tank that hides the battery or better yet run a magneto and eliminate that motherfucker!

Yeah, man, what's wrong with you? Get those tires into the living room, those boxes you can stack in front of the fridge. You will be WAY more creative without those items destroying your Feng Shui.

My shed is really cluttered up, I'd better send my project out to a shop.

Better yet put the bike in the living room, Right in front of the tv, Just use that for the background noise while your working on the BIKE. That's were I built my first bike , EX-OL Lady didn't mind the Bondo dust, Hell it put fiber in the diet. Seemed to make her cooking taste better to. And it was warmer in there the whole time I was building it.

You're right there.
I just finished building my first bike in the living room, and it's a lot more fun building a bike infront of a fireplace while watching concert videos than in the garage.

Like I said my garage is full of crap/ can't work in it right now so I have to work some where else until I get my place cleaned up. I wouldn't let some else work on my projects. Don't take this the wrong way, tripping over stuff isn't good. I'm giving advise not insults!!

I'm going to run the coils under the stock tank, and boyer(when I get it, still using points). Using a hex oiltank with the battery box that I pick up from one of the guys here (Thanks) and use the fender bracket for the typanium where most guys put their battery.

I'm just not sure where the hell I'm going to put the key ignition (maybe in the motor bracket like most do). I just need to find a spot where some jackass will have a hard time to change it out and take my ride.

If I get a different oiltank, everything will change (start fresh, GAME OVER).

I agree, I do need to clean the place up. The only problem, is the garage is shared between both parts of the duplex. The boxes, tires and big crap is my neighbors.

I do have to take responsiblity for the other crap.
