Most of my pics are stuck in limbo on my old computer. I really enjoy looking at all the Pans in the other thread, so how about some Shovel pics.

Here is a cool original paint 1972 model that has never been apart that belongs to a friend of mine.

Looks like a Nasa project, does it drive like a rocket as well?

still running in but yea, slightest twist & it just flys,... the handling & stoppings better than any harley I've ridden other than a buddys Buel XB9R....

all because of the lectron offcoure 😬, very cool approach of customizing in general.

i know i do & have prattled on about them before but seriously, the more its used the better it seems, if ya get the chance to try a Lectron, you'll be saving ya beer tokens for one,... yea, a ZZR1200 may be faster but a shovel can be many things in one, a sporty ride, a cruser or for the school run, just keep an eye on ya throttle hand & keep the oil topped up & ya sorted
That's one awesome hand shift/clutch setup. Love the ingenuity.
Thanks just something a lol different I know it’s been done over the years

I rebuilt this 1977 FLH @ 3 years ago, put a little over 15,000 mile as and gotta brag on her a bit, best one I’ve done so far. It does have a 1993 FLST front end so that may throw the look off with brake caliper location

Yowza!

Did it somehow escape being stripped and customized (and all the "garbage" being thrown away)? Or have you spend the past xx years pulling together all that post-Art Deco tubework etc.?

Real good result, whichever. Thanks.

Thank you. It actually came with a couch and bags, but the straight pipes had to GO.
I like to think I've slowly steered back to its former glory.
Because, you know if you take a hard right, that hack'll fly😉.
