what year/model sportster trees were the ones with the bolt holes instead of the rubber isolators? I've seen them a few times,but can't find any information on them. They're 39mm later ones I know......

You can get the solid inserts instead of the rubber isoloators if thats what your wanting to do.

That is correct, the 1905 models did use solid mount handlebars.

Rubber mount the engines and then they solid mount the bars. Go figure. RXL's were introduced in 2004, didn't they go solid then as well?
