Anybody elses Pro Clutch sound like a deepsea fishing reel. It Brand new so i hoping its just adjustment.

That's not Right.....

They are a bit noisy when in the disengage mode....

To me..It sounds like the starter clutch gears are making the noise....Being the mainshaft is not turning until you engage the clutch.

This guy had noise issues with a pro clutch, not sure if its the same as your noise. Good read though, shows how to fix it on page 4.

To me..It sounds like the starter clutch gears are making the noise....Being the mainshaft is not turning until you engage the clutch.

Could do a test of sorts for seeing if this is the cause....

While the motor is running....Take the kick arm all the way to the bottom of it's stroke....What that does is pulls the starter clutch gear away from it's mate....If the noise stops...Something is up with the Kick gear inside the Kick Cover....
