I have never owned a triumph swingarm bike, and not gonna start now.I have a 66 500 and want to remove the swingarm,I pulled the thru bolt and the two caps(dust shields I guess)on the ends, and it looks to be a hollow shaft like a neck stem and it is press fit in brass or bronze bushings. The fucker won't budge, what am I doing wrong?Somebody offer up some advice so I can get this thing mocked up and have pix on tonight.

Put some WD40 on it overnite.heat the lugs with a little propane.Get a junk jap socket on the end for a drift and smack the hell out of it.They are in pretty tight.Good luck,Frosty
