Im thinking on put one from a new Triumph (Bonnie or Daytona) on a t140 bonnie.
Could be?
I mean, guess that they have the "power" to move the pads...

It has to be the right bore to work with whatever caliper you use. If the bore is the same as the old one, the caliper wont know the difference.

...I see, the problem is that I do not have any to know the actual bore...but guessing the disc is similar in diam, possibly the bore is similar too

...the T140 discs are almost 10 inches, so you say that the new ones have bigger disc...so if its bigger may be there s no problem to push the pads on the t140 s
The problem there can be that it can push the pads TOO good, leaving one with an extremely touchy brake. A brake that locks up at the lightest touch can be worse than no brake at all. I'm not saying that this will happen, I'm just saying that it's a very distinct possibility.
