I have a 78' Ratchet Top, and will be running a Foot Clutch, and a Jockey Shift. I was wanting to know if anyone has modified the Stock Shift Drum to make it a Neutral Down. I know baker makes an assembly to make it Neutral down, but not looking to spend $500-$600 but I will If I have too.

If it is any consolation, you get used to it. Steep learning curve with foot clutch/hand shift bikes.

It's not $500-600, more like $275 depending on who you go through. I ride a foot clutch/hand shift with an N1 and it makes a big difference.

Only one I've seen comes from Baker Drivetrain.

As soon as I finished up my foot clutch/hand shift I made a lap around the block and then hit the main drag through the city. I haven't had a problem yet.
