There is a feature on Matts Sportster in Dice issue # 6. That bike came out of Randy Jansens Go Fast Choppers shop. One of the best Sportsters ever in my book. You may also be able to see more pics at gofastchoppers.com

Re: Sick sporty pics

Never took an interest in Sportsters until I saw these pictures. I like some a whole lot more than others. The cafes are really cool as well. Shows some diversity in what you can get from thses bikes. I know nothing about these bikes, I'm a Triumph guy so forgive my ignorant questions. Are the stock frames easy to hard tail? Are they bolt on or weld on kits or are most of these bikes running custom frames. I'm seriously considering picking one up if I find the right start up bike.

Spotsters remain the neglected stepchild of HD, which is fine with me, they are light, and fast, the engine tranny design makes em compact and can yield a bike that is very CLEAN.

The traditional "Oh it is a girls' bike" makes a lot of people steer clear.....that keeps the price down. It was not that long ago that it was pretty easy to find a running iron head for about a grand....

Even the new Evos can be picked up really reasonable.....

I have put 120,000 miles on my 93 xl

all Sportsters f*&king rawk on !
major frame change in 79'
You can add a kicker up to 79'
Last year for ironhead was 84'
Left side shift up to 74' (was still on option 75 and 76')
Neck stem is 7/8" up to 84' but you can resize races for 1"
weldon and boltons are plenty on these internets for the pre79'
I see more and more weldon kits for later models nowdays.
THEY ALL GOOD !
Sportster dudes dont bitch like the whiney cunts u saw this past weekend from both stock purists to aftermart 'dont-give-a-shitters'(me) big twin enthusiASSt's .
A sporster enthusiast is more likely to exchange ideas and suggestions and where to's or how to's and less likely to impose rules on how to or what to post on a message board like the f*&king anal gash sh*t I saw a few threads ago...goddam how many women are on this board ?
...except for the occasional " why do people call my sportster a girl bike or 1/2 a harley ?" waaaaaa waaaaaa waaaaaa my panties are wadding waaaa waaaa you made them do that, you better take that back! waaa waaa...I think it's more thier imagination...all that, being the worst baggage what comes with a spurty !
anyway, my trucks been runnin for a half hour here...dam it's cold...:D
