Re: Sick sporty pics

No stretch in the frame, just a 42deg rake. The last changes all happened after Wasko came up and we made the rear guard for his bike, when he left I decided I wanted a bobbed rear guard so I Strutted it and I had an old stainless flat sided Norton guard that I attacked with the hammer and dolly and made it match the profile of my tyre. Then I had to make a side mount tail light and plate hanger. I stood back and relised the Larger King Sporty tank was way too big now with the bobbed rear guard so I grabbed wasko's Penut tank off the shelf and cut the bottom out of it, then I called him and asked if I could barrow it, hehe. Anyway, after finishing and mounting the tank, the stock bars and risers didn't fit, I didn't have any other risers in the garage so I turned out some slugs and made these bars. Simple, one thing leads to another:)
Charley

Wow that really has changed since I last saw a pic of it. Did you stretch the frame Charley or is it just the frisco mounting of the tank that makes the bike look so tall?

I'm sorry I don't know who built this. I think it was a dutch or swedish builder, but I'm not sure. It is one of the nicest Ironheads I've seen. Pure chopper:

Ken, it's an old CCW (California Cycle Works) girder and the neck is raked about 45 degrees
