I am trying to use a 180/80-14 wide tire on my hardtail 71 Tiger. Is anyone aware of any kits to line up the two sprokets?

would like to put a on rear tire similar to this:

the rim on the new tire is 4.5 inches and around 7 inch tire width total. this is almost exactly the same at the hardtail width. i'm worried about tire rub on the tire to frame as well as the tire to chain.

any ideas and/or knowledge about current kits would be greatly appreciated.

you will probably find out the transmission drive sprocket will never line up with the wheel sprocket without the wheel being way off center.
but Why?? do you think a really short fat wheel is gonna look good?

The widest you can/should go is a 130, and you will still have an offset. You may want to think about a jack shaft.

I put a 130/18 under my 76 bonneville.
To do that I had to take an 1/8 of an in off the inside of the drive sprocket,
And had a 520 sprocket made for the rear that I spaced to line up. Now it has a 520 chain and about 2mm clearance with no problems.

I have a 130 no offset, that's as wide as you can go with everything in the middle.

That will get you a quick routing to the ugly and funny bike thread......i suggest you go with a 26" front tire instead....
