Hey guys, new to the board....I did an intro.

I just recently bought a '70 Triumph with a few crates of parts an found a pair of POSA carbs in the crate. They look to chrome plated aluminum, very neat carbs but I have no idea what they are??

Are they competition carbs?? Has anybody ever seen a pair??

Pete-

P.s.

My damn camera is in the glove box of my car which is in storage!

you have a set of chrome fuel leaks.
There only good for wide open throttle in say drag racing or lsr. Not for street use
They are for hanging on the wall because they are kinda cool to look at.
They are for selling on E-bay to someone who thinks they are cool enough to buy. (Be sure to put "Rare" in the ad)
They are for throwing in the garbage.
They are for starting threads asking "What do these fit?"
They are for a lot of things, but not for a motorcycle.

Thanks for that Tony, made my morning haha!

Dirt Floor...you must have ended up on such for being ignorant enough to brag about posting an intro but negating the search function.

Hmmm, guess the bike guys are bigger bitches than the car guys...the reason I said I did an intro was because im sure there's a few guys who police this board and pray upon newbies.....

Such as you...

Pete-
Well for my $0.02 worth. Chrome won't get you home but may get you laid. And Chrome carbs are now a good looking paper weight.

Sand in your vag?

If you simply put the word "posa" into the search for the main board you get 21 threads posted before yours that are full of info without wasting banwidth for those of us who take the time to try and answer things ourselves before cluttering things up.
Are you really arrogant enough to think that you have something nobody has ever seen before? Thanks for another laugh, you're the one coming off as a whiny bitch...and fuck, if you're going to try and insult someone at least spell things correctly. You should PRAY that others aren't going to PREY on you any further for acting as such. :D
welcome to the site, sorry if I dont bitch, not my time of month,my vajj is'nt itchy
You see so many of these (as well as Lake and Star injectors) in chopper mags back in the day. Was it really a case of "show bike only", or was there a way to make these things streetable?

Interesting to note that when you Google Posa carbs, the first 5 hits are airplane forums (the 6th, of course is JJ).
Oh my.......Im not sure I ever said I had something no one else had......and I think its safe to assume that you are in fact the po-po here on the public forum, one of those computer muscle, spelling correction folks....do you wear a little hat when you log on???

Anyways, relax dude.

Pete-

P.s.

The way I see it, your the one wasting the band width with your shit ass replies.

Looks to me like you thought you have something nobody has seen.

Not the forum popo by any means...just giving you some info in a teasing manner and you obviously don't know how to take it. Not like it matters much anyway since this thread will likely get closed/deleted.
several years ago I had a set on an old flat tracker, they were Lakes but they're all the same thing, after a lot of trial and error tuning I had a pretty good running streetable bike, but if you left the petcocks on the gas would just run out of them. and whatever you do don't open the throttle without the bike running or the gas would shoot out of them.
Since then I've had a couple of other sets that I never could get to run right.

Look at it this way, if they were any good they'd still be making them.
skaj, the guy asked about carbs....your responses offered insults and had nothing to offer in response to answering his questions....about carbs....
Meh, I was at first just amused at the fact that he didn't bother with the search function and pointed out with others that it is very helpful (as is also posted in the Manifesto among other places.)
After he called those of us ribbing him "bitches" I decided to have a little fun. Not my fault he didn't choose to take it light heartedly. I guess I may have been a bit coarse but I am not known for sugar coating anything.
I just have little patience for those who expect everyone to do/answer everything for them when the info is very easily found.
Looked to me like he asked an honest question and has received honest answers. Skaj I think you are out of line and need to chill abit. I agree with scottto. You aren't being helpful in anyway.
Dirt Floor: We really need to watch out for wasting bandwidth so we all can keep on posting plenty of pics of tattooed sluts and ugliest fucking bikes in the world. Really hate to waste it on something like a fairly rare fuel injector.
I'm thinking that I need to be more sensitive so I can fit in better with the banter on some of these threads. Maybe we all need to drink a bit more whiskey before we post stuff.
