Here are some pics of my 66 triumph I have been redoing. It was the same one that was in my profile pic, but wasn't happy with it. Little 500cc, but moves pretty good. Next I have to do the wiring. Just wanted to share,
Erron

Bitchin scooter!!!.....what size is the rear wheel?....thanks
19 front, 19 rear
Kinda scary with the avon ribbed job, but I just take it easy.
looks way better black. give a brutha a call. i want to see it in person.
and for gods sake clean that garage.lol.
Yeah, I like it better in black. It looks good man.
That's coming along a treat! Err.. is that a 4" or 6" hardtail?
Love the TT pipes... any chance of a pic off the jack, so's we can see its true stance?
You seem to have a front tire on the rear of your bike.

Yeah, I knew I'd get some shit for that tire, but I had it around, so I am using it. I'll take some more pics when it gets closer to completed, and after I stripe it. Probably going to use cream and silver one-shot, but keep it VERY simple.
Thanks for the kind words

Oh yeah, I think it's an 8" stretch, but cant remember cuase I don't have my swingarm anymore.

Quick question:
I am going to run my pipes like that, but do you all think that the battery and boyer (under the batt), will get fried? Maybe a heat sheild?
Thanks,
Erron
you should check out the 3.5x19 Avon AM7

cooler looking (for the rear) IMO, and more safe.
burn-out the other one so it's not a total waste.

Thanks man, it is really hard to find a decent looking skinny 19 tire, that also fits with the "style" of the bike. Will upgrade as funds become available.

Looks great nice work, I am just starting out on the same. Let me know if you have any excess spares you want to sell I have a lot of needs.
The battery location won't be a problem. If you high center on something, you might trash the Boyer black box. I'd hide it under the gas tank.

Avon also make the road runner universal in 19" for the rear, but the speed master (AM7) looks more traditional. Dunlop K81's are made in 19" too. Both are sized 3.60 & 4.10

Nice chop
WOW!
That thing is AWESOME!
The pipes look killer too!
Those couldn't have gone on a better bike!

Nice job..

skip the silver 1-shot...silver (metallic) sucks to stripe with, doesnt last for nothing...

just go with a cream in my opinion, dont wanna overdo it.
Love the rib design on the rear !! Looks different...finally..
would you happen to know the part number for your fork covers? Nice bike, BTW!!
Erron,

Good to see another 500 out there. I run a Avon sm 4.00x18 on the
back of mine. That 3.5x19 would look kickass.
